The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Taylor is fending him off so far but Williams persists. Nope, Taylor circles away and we're back to standing.

and Taylor counters with a three punch combo that has Williams backing up. Williams nods at Taylor to acknowledge the strikes.
Williams shoots for a double leg takedown but Taylor sprawls well. He's pushed Williams's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gizmo Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Taylor is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Williams rolls with it to try and escape but Taylor cranks on the arm and Williams is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
