The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James misses with a series of wild punches.
James takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lyon. James does a little dance to reset his feet.
James lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Lyon connects with a looping right hand.
Lyon misses with a right hand
and James counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
James lands a nice hook to Lyon's body. Lyon takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Lyon seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
James bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
James is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Lyon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but James was well out of range. Poor timing from Lyon.

James is trying to force a seperation but Lyon has the dominant position.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Lyon creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

BAM! Lyon delivers a spinning backfist that drops James like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
