Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eildon Heap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demon Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maia fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Heap manages to avoid it.
Maia slips a straight right by Heap.

Some bone on bone action there as Heap checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Maia.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Heap's jab looks to have found its range, popping Maia under the eye.
Heap fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Maia manages to avoid it.
Maia takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Heap takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Heap might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Maia throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Heap stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Heap has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Maia finds it's way round the side to connect with Heap's head.

Demon Maia showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Heap is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Heap has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Maia.
Maia feints with a jab and clips Heap right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Heap is sent crashing into the canvas and Maia leaps in for the kill! Heap tries to get to his feet but Maia is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Heap is in need of a savior and steps in!

After winning the bout, Demon Maia thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
