Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jake Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitur Binesdirty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mitur Binesdirty is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mitur Binesdirty!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reyes throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Binesdirty's waist but Binesdirty gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Reyes off to one side.
As Reyes backs off Binesdirty throws a huge counter combo but Reyes manages to avoid it all.
Binesdirty circles away from the clinch attempt
and Binesdirty counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Binesdirty has taken the fight to the clinch.

Binesdirty escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Reyes goes for a double leg but Binesdirty avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Binesdirty continues to drive forward.
A countering left hand to the body from Binesdirty misses.
Binesdirty closes this distance looking for a takedown but Reyes circles away.
We've been informed that Binesdirty has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Binesdirty counters with a nice low kick that buckles Reyes's knee momentarily.

Reyes shoots in but Binesdirty avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That kick from Binesdirty tenderised Reyes's leg. Reyes is trying to keep his angry face on.

Reyes is trying to push Binesdirty away but Binesdirty has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Reyes thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
Binesdirty turns into Reyes and is now in his guard.
Binesdirty not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Binesdirty's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Let's hope that Binesdirty has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Reyes is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Binesdirty passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Binesdirty tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Binesdirty has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Binesdirty content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Reyes takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Binesdirty is landing with some decent strikes but Reyes is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Binesdirty unleashes a big counter combination but Reyes bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Binesdirty misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Binesdirty throws a strike aimed at the side of Reyes's head but Reyes avoids it well.

Binesdirty has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Binesdirty is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Reyes's half guard.

Reyes on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Reyes tries to get out of the position.

Binesdirty takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Mitur Binesdirty has got the better of the ground game so far.

Binesdirty seems to be working for a kimura but Reyes defends the submission attempt.
Binesdirty is taking a breather. Reyes says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Binesdirty winds up and cracks Reyes with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

and Binesdirty counters with a series of strikes. Reyes will be more careful next time no doubt.

Binesdirty shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Reyes manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Binesdirty is standing up over Reyes. Reyes looks to escape but Binesdirty dives into side control.
Mitur Binesdirty is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Binesdirty has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Reyes managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Binesdirty.
Binesdirty remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Well Binesdirty has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
