Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Theothrastus Bombastus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson dips to his left and cracks Bombastus with an uppercut!
Bombastus moves out of range of the strikes.
Bombastus walks into a jab.
Bombastus misses with a right hand
and Jackson counters with a nice body shot.
Bombastus ducks under a wild hook from Jackson.
We've been told by Jackson's head coaches at Wilder MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Jackson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bombastus rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jackson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A big left from Jackson misses.
Bombastus throws a jab when Jackson was well out of range.
Jackson swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Jackson counters with a nice uppercut.
Jackson throws a nice outside leg kick.

Bombastus takes one on the button.
Jackson lands a jab to Bombastus's midsection.
Bombastus rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jackson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A jab-cross combination lands for Jackson and sends Bombastus crashing to the mat! Jackson follows him down to the mat - Bombastus regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Bombastus is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bombastus pushes Jackson off looking to stand but Jackson dives back in and keeps control.
Bombastus is still in real trouble! Can Jackson finish him?
Bombastus is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Bombastus is not content to let Jackson control the position.
Bombastus seems to have recovered his senses.
Jackson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Bombastus is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Jackson prevents Bombastus from standing back up.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Bombastus clobbers Jackson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Jackson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jackson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bombastus moves away.
Bombastus gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Bombastus rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jackson counters with a slapping leg kick.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Bombastus checks a leg kick.

Bombastus misses with a left hand
and Jackson counters with a straight right hand.
Bombastus walks into a left hand.
Bombastus misses with a lunging right hand
and Jackson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jackson slips under a jab.
Jackson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bombastus throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jackson is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Bombastus takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Jackson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The fighters circling - Bombastus throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bombastus swings widly with a right hand
and Jackson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jackson works the jab nicely.
Bombastus throws a head kick but Jackson moves out of range.
Jackson cracks Bombastus with a right hand to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jackson is looking to counter punch.
Bombastus throws a poor cross that misses
and Jackson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bombastus throws a head kick that misses
and Jackson counters with a nice uppercut.
Bombastus looks to land a left hand but Jackson moved out of range nicely.
Bombastus avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Bombastus has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bombastus there as he acknowledges the shot.
Bombastus gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Jackson gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michael Jackson!
