Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mark Holm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Callum Welsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Mark Holm has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Holm.
We've been told by Holm's head coaches at Arvins Bootcamp that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Holm throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Holm tries to close the distance and clinch up but Welsh swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Welsh misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Welsh avoids a kick to the body.
Welsh throws a sloppy head kick and Holm moves out of range easily.
Holm throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Holm misses with a wild combination.
Holm misses with a straight left.
Holm tries to clinch but Welsh is having none of it.

Holm rushes Welsh and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Welsh throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Welsh is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Holm manages to break the clinch.
Welsh avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Welsh clinches up with Holm and pushes him back against the cage.
Welsh scores with a shoulder strike.
A head punch on the inside from Welsh fails to land.
Holm wants to get back to striking at distance but Welsh won't allow it.
Welsh will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Holm up against the cage.

Welsh misses with a knee to the head.
Holm drops down looking for an ankle pick but Welsh pulls his leg out and moves away.
Holm shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Welsh defends it nicely.
Welsh tries a quick counter leg kick but Holm is wise to it.

Welsh has closed the distance and engaged Holm in a clinch.
Welsh lands a left hand.
Holm is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Welsh is defending well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Holm. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Welsh lands a nice shot to the body.
Welsh is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Welsh.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Holm is rocked!

Oh Holm is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Welsh lands a right hand that snaps the head of Holm backwards.
The referee calls for Welsh to work.
Welsh pushes Holm back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Welsh cracks Holm with a nice body shot.
Welsh stops a takedown attempt from Holm.
Welsh creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Holm's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Holm drops to his knees and Welsh pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
