Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hairy Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Dent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dent avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dent misses with a takedown attempt - Johnson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Dent throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Johnson drops back looking for a leg! Dent is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dent manages to kick Johnson off! Johnson jumps back into Dent's guard.
Dent is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Johnson tries to get to full guard but Dent has control of the leg.

Well, if Dent is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Johnson is trying to get back to full guard.

Johnson actively working from the bottom here.

Johnson is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Dent pulls his head out easily.
Johnson is breathing heavily.
Dent is looking to take a break and control but Johnson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Dent slows the pace down in half guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Dent has Johnson up against the cage in a clinch.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Dent ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Dent no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Johnson tries to stand but Dent is controlling from the bottom.
Dent throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Dent has Johnson pulled in close to control his posture.

Dent had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Johnson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Dent Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Johnson's back instead.
Dent is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Johnson up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
I would not like to be Johnson right now.

Dent has Johnson flattened out and is raining down punches.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Johnson rolls, trying to escape but Dent keeps control of the position.
Dent has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Johnson.
Dent keeps control of the position as Johnson tries to break free.
Dent lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Dent.
Dent has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Johnson's body.

Dent has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Dent keeps control of the position as Johnson tries to break free.
Dent slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Johnson tries to roll but Dent sticks to his back.

Dent is working for a rear naked choke. Johnson is not defending it well and Dent has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Johnson refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Johnson's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
