The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cudi decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Whitaker wants to get back to his feet.
Whitaker kicks off Cudi and gets to his feet.
Cudi has his takedown stuffed
and Whitaker counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Whitaker.
Whitaker trying to control the position from guard on top but Cudi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
