Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Cobsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Soto Makikomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Soto Makikomi acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Cobsen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Soto Makikomi!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makikomi keeps the fight on the outside.
Makikomi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cobsen swivels and escapes.
Cobsen motions for Makikomi to come forward. Cobsen throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Makikomi fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
An inside leg kick lands from Makikomi.

Makikomi closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Makikomi is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Makikomi is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Cobsen to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

Makikomi drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Cobsen dives on top into guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Makikomi makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Makikomi throws a sloppy head kick and Cobsen moves out of range easily.

Makikomi gets to his feet - Cobsen follows without any prompting.
Makikomi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cobsen circles away quickly and effectively.

I would just about give that final round to Soto Makikomi.
I think Makikomi has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
