Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beach Bum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edwin Elpidio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beach Bum has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Edwin Elpidio!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, John Roberts and Franklyn Lucas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bum ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Elpidio slips under a jab.
A telegraphed right hand from Elpidio misses the target.
Elpidio with a body punch. A glancing blow.
No joy there for Elpidio, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Elpidio cracks Bum with a good jab.
Bum thows a left - swing and a miss!
Elpidio dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bum checks a low kick from Elpidio.
Elpidio throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bum lands a nice shot to the body.
Elpidio drops his hands momentarily and Bum takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Bum tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Elpidio swivels and escapes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Elpidio ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Oooooh!!! Elpidio has knocked Bum down with a huge combo! Elpidio steps away and waves a wobbly Bum back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Beach Bum has been cut.

Bum feints and as Elpidio raises his hands in defense, Bum changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Elpidio wriggles free and stands up.
Elpidio misses the jab.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bum tries to close the distance and clinch up but Elpidio swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bum scores with a nice head shot.
Elpidio scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Elpidio moves away from the strike by Bum.
Elpidio misses with a body shot.
Bum is looking to counter punch.
Bum lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Elpidio swings for the body but Bum moves out of range.
Bum was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Bum looks to land a right hand but Elpidio moved out of range.
Bum tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Elpidio was well out of range. Poor timing from Bum.
Bum misses with a lunging right hand
and Elpidio cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bum shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Elpidio defends it nicely.
Bum looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Beach Bum. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Elpidio uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bum.
Elpidio lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Bum throws out a loose jab but Elpidio uses good head movement to avoid it.

Oh Bum is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bum drops his hands momentarily. Elpidio doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Bum staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Bum doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Edwin Elpidio!
After winning the bout, Edwin Elpidio thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
