Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Heriberto Mcintyre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nazar Chaos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nazar Chaos has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Heriberto Mcintyre's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Heriberto Mcintyre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nazar Chaos !
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chaos is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Mcintyre's half guard.
Mcintyre trying to control from the bottom.
Mcintyre is controlling Chaos 's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Chaos is taking a breather. Mcintyre says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Mcintyre is trying to control but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mcintyre controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Chaos with the ground and pound but Mcintyre uses the opportunity to regain guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Chaos darts in and clinches Mcintyre up against the cage.

Chaos manages to pull guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Chaos holds on and takes a little breather.
Mcintyre could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Chaos striking off his back but it's not causing Mcintyre any problems.

Mcintyre prevents Chaos from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chaos escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mcintyre gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Mcintyre seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Mcintyre wants to control from the top but Chaos keeps moving.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Chaos bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mcintyre's guard.


Mcintyre has his foot on Chaos 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Chaos works his way back into a safe position though.
Mcintyre has Chaos pulled in close to control his posture.
Chaos wants to get up but he can't break Mcintyre's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Chaos controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Mcintyre is trying to keep Chaos in close.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Chaos gets a takedown into half guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Chaos seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Mcintyre wants to get back to his feet.
Mcintyre is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Chaos in particular looking to stall.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Chaos fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mcintyre sprawls well initially but Chaos persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Mcintyre is staying active underneath Chaos , who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Chaos thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Chaos throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Chaos decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Chaos scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Mcintyre kicks Chaos off and gets back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mcintyre fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Chaos fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mcintyre to the ground. Chaos is now in Mcintyre's guard.

Chaos trying to control the position from guard on top but Mcintyre is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Chaos is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Nazar Chaos has got the better of the ground game so far.
Chaos would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Chaos stands up from Mcintyre's guard - Chaos perhaps looking for a knockout.
Mcintyre closes the distance and clinches up with Chaos , looking for a takedown. Mcintyre pushes Chaos against the cage but Chaos circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Chaos moves into range and clinches up with Mcintyre.
Mcintyre has Chaos pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Chaos manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Heriberto Mcintyre. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mcintyre tries to score a body lock takedown but Chaos shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Mcintyre jumps guard but Chaos turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Chaos . He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Mcintyre wants to control but Chaos is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Chaos has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Mcintyre trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Chaos manages to pass to mount!
Chaos throws some wild stikes that Mcintyre manages to avoid easily.
Mcintyre tries to lock up and control but Chaos gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Mcintyre is squirming around, avoiding Chaos 's attempts to control the action.

Mcintyre is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Chaos throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Chaos looking to finish with strikes here!
Mcintyre wants to control but Chaos is having none of it.

Mcintyre defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Chaos .
Chaos sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Chaos controlling from the full mount.
Let's hope that Chaos has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Chaos throws some wild stikes that Mcintyre manages to avoid easily.
Mcintyre blocking the ground and pound.
Chaos tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chaos punching from mount but Mcintyre doing a good job of avoiding damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nazar Chaos showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Mcintyre misses with a takedown attempt - Chaos sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Chaos throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.


It looks like Heriberto Mcintyre has been cut.

Mcintyre is trying to maintain the position but Chaos is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Chaos postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Mcintyre to stand up.
Chaos leaves Mcintyre with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Chaos shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mcintyre napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Mcintyre is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Chaos decides to stand up, so the ref orders Mcintyre to his feet.
No joy there for Chaos , who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Chaos tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mcintyre was well out of range. Poor timing from Chaos .
Mcintyre tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Chaos defends well and Mcintyre ends up having to push Chaos into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Chaos closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Mcintyre quickly recovers to half guard.

Chaos decides to stand and escape the position.
Chaos misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mcintyre was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

No joy there for Chaos , who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Chaos bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Chaos fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Mcintyre wants to control but Chaos postures up.
Chaos wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mcintyre keeps working.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Nazar Chaos comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Chaos has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
