The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vicente throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Miyagi tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Vicente is in Miyagi's guard.

Miyagi has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Vicente is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Vicente throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Miyagi blocks it with crossed arms.
Vicente is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Miyagi to keep the fight standing.
Miyagi wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Vicente prevents Miyagi from breaking the clinch.
Miyagi prevents the takedown attempt.

Miyagi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Felicito Vicente seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vicente throws a leg kick but Miyagi sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Vicente misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Miyagi is looking to clinch.

and Miyagi makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Vicente misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Miyagi misses with a low kick.

Miyagi is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Vicente.
Miyagi avoids a punch combination nicely.

Miyagi lands a big head kick that sends Vicente tumbling to the mat! Miyagi takes a step backwards and waves Vicente back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Miyagi throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Vicente is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
