Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gil Mills!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damballah tries to bum rush Mills with a series of wild strikes but Mills uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Damballah looks to land a combination. Mills sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Damballah throws a combination that misses
and Damballah takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
No joy there for Damballah, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Damballah slips under a jab from Mills.
Damballah sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Mills fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Damballah is breathing heavily.
Mills dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mills stuns Damballah with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Mills scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Damballah doesn't seem bothered though.
El Misterioso Damballah seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Damballah takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
A chopping leg kick lands by Mills.
Mills uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Damballah.
Damballah misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Mills! But no joy.
Damballah swinging wildly here.
Damballah takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Mills steps into range and cracks Damballah with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Damballah flops backwards and Mills dives into his guard looking to finish!

Damballah is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mills lands a couple of digs.
Oh Damballah is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Damballah seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Mills loads up on a big left hand. Damballah felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Mills looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Damballah can't hide his disappointment, as Mills celebrates the victory.
