Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryan Lissington!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Columbo Gatti and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lissington scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kent in his tracks.
Lissington connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kent momentarily.


It looks like Milan Kent has been cut.
Kent lands a head kick. Lissington smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Kent fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lissington throws a leg kick but Kent sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Kent seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Lissington clinches with his opponent.

Kent manages to break the clinch.
Lissington lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Lissington moves into the clinch successfully.
Lissington is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Lissington is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Lissington has Kent pushed against the cage.
Kent keeps control of Lissington as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Lissington gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lissington postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Lissington missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Kent is working an open guard so Lissington takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Lissington closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kent circles away.
Lissington fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kent looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Lissington scores with a sloppy right hand. Kent should have avoided that one.
Lissington is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Kent looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.


Kent is rocked!
Lissington closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Kent out cold! Kent corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ryan Lissington!
