Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Guseppe Orssini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mao Elfron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Elfron has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. The key to victory for Guseppe Orssini has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orssini throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like Mao Elfron has been cut.
Orssini throws a head kick but Elfron moves out of range.
A head kick misses from Orssini.
Elfron throws a low kick but Orssini moves out of range easily.
Orssini throws a big counter combination but Elfron scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Elfron goes for a double leg but Orssini avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Orssini continues to drive forward.
Orssini looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Orssini cracks Elfron with an open hand slap.
Orssini throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Elfron feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Orssini has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Elfron gets to his feet. Orssini looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Elfron closes this distance looking for a takedown but Orssini circles away.
It looked like Orssini was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Elfron fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Guseppe Orssini has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mao Elfron.
Elfron looks to clinch
and Orssini counters with a one-two to the body.
The fighters circle, before Orssini throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Elfron's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Orssini lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
