Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Tony (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robinson throws a body punch but Tony moves out of range.
Robinson misses the jab.
Tony throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Robinson on the side of the head.
Tony is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Robinson throws a jab when Tony was well out of range.
Robinson fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Robinson waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Tony.
Robinson throws a jab but it's blocked by Tony.
Tony slips under a jab from Robinson.
Robinson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Robinson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Robinson looks to land a right hand but Tony moved out of range.
Tony darts in and clinches Robinson up against the cage.
Robinson has had enough of the clinch but Tony keeps him there for the moment.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Tony creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Tony breaks from the clinch.
Robinson tries to bum rush Tony with a series of wild strikes but Tony uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Robinson throws an overhand right that lands on Tony's shoulder, as Tony tries to avoid the shot.
Tony scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Jeff Robinson has been cut.
Robinson throws a head kick but Tony moves out of range.
Tony scores with a punch to the head.
Tony clinches up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tony breaks the clinch.
Tony scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Robinson doesn't seem bothered though.
Tony shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Robinson's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tony postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Robinson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Tony, into his guard.
Tony has control of Robinson's left arm, preventing Robinson from doing any damage.
Tony throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Tony is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Robinson scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Tony manages to mount him!
Tony misses with a head shot.
Tony misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Tony punching from mount but Robinson doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Tony lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Robinson wants to control but Tony is having none of it.

Tony postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Robinson looks a forlorn figure.

That has opened up Jeff Robinson's cut even more.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jeff Robinson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
