And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
I was talking to Ki's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Wright tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Wright.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Ki takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Wright is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes.
Ki just leaning against Wright, taking a breather.
Wright struggles to land a body shot inside as Ki controls his hands.
Ki stalling the fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ki slows down the pace here.
Ki gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Wright.
Wright is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Ki is keeping busy.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wright swings wildly with an uppercut but Ki uses good head movement to avoid it.

Ki has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Wright is trying to keep an underhook but Ki manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Ki seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Wright is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

In his post fight interview, Ao Ki started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
