Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cleveland Wiggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and LC Donowan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LC Donowan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wiggins drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Donowan struggling a bit here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Donowan has one of Wiggins's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.

Wiggins knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Donowan on the ground.
Donowan is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Wiggins has just dragged him back down to the mat.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Donowan moves into the clinch.
Wiggins blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Donowan has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Wiggins clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Donowan really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Wiggins.
Donowan's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Wiggins wants to escape the position.

A bit of a pause in the action here. Donowan controlling the positon.
Wiggins trying to get back to his feet but Donowan is in full control for now.
Donowan scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.

Donowan should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Donowan looking to break Wiggins's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Wiggins remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Donowan will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Donowan is trying to pull guard but Wiggins has him pressed against the cage.

Donowan jumps guard but Wiggins stands there with Donowan around his waist. Donowan gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Cleveland Wiggins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of LC Donowan.

Donowan drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Wiggins gets the underhooks and prevents it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Wiggins lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Donowan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Wiggins pulls his head out easily.

Donowan escapes and gets back to his feet.
Donowan has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Donowan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wiggins looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

LC Donowan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!



Donowan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Wiggins wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Donowan manages to pass to side control.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Donowan can do anything to dispel that myth.

Donowan is looking for a triangle but Wiggins pushes his legs off easily.

LC Donowan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Donowan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
