The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
King misses with the combination.
Ventura cracks King with a right hand to the side of the head.
Ventura's jab looks to have found its range, popping King under the eye.
Ventura tries to clinch up but King circles away and keeps his distance.
Ventura dodges the punch combination from King.
Ventura lands a jab to the head.
It looks like William King has been cut.
Ventura looks to score with a jab to the body but King is just out of range.
King bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ventura's head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ventura breaks the clinch.
Ventura takes a jab right on the kisser.
Ventura misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from King.
King shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
King thows a huge punch but Ventura dodges it nicely.

King wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ventura keeps working.

King is trying to control the action in half guard but Ventura is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
King has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

King slips a nice elbow through Ventura's hands, connecting with Ventura's forehead.

King winds up and cracks Ventura with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

King wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ventura keeps working.
King sitting in half guard here. He lands a big elbow that has hurt Ventura! Oh, Ventura is in big trouble! King lands more strikes and the ref dives in to save him! The fight is over!

After winning the bout, William King thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
