These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jenkins scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Tyler wants to get back to full guard but Jenkins has passed into side control.
Jenkins looking to control and managing it successfully.
Tyler is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Jenkins controlling from mount.
Jenkins lands a big shot there that rocks Tyler but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Tyler defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Jenkins.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jenkins tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Despite being in the dominant position, Tallahassee Jenkins just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Tyler has his takedown stuffed

and Jenkins counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Jenkins drops an elbow to the side of Tyler's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tyler is looking to control Jenkins's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Tyler avoid being mounted?
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Tyler is pressing down on Jenkins's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Jenkins wants to control from the top but Tyler keeps moving.
Jenkins slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Tyler looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Tyler is breathing heavily.
Tyler working a defensive guard but Jenkins passes into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Let's hope that Jenkins has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Jenkins frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Tyler keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Jenkins content just to control the position here.

Tyler can't escape the position.
Tyler wants to control but Jenkins is having none of it.
Tyler is looking to get to half guard.
Jenkins has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Tyler's face.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tallahassee Jenkins dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Jenkins instigates a clinch.
Jenkins throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Tyler blocks it with crossed arms.
A looping hook to the body misses from Tyler. Jenkins does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tyler looks to clinch

and Jenkins counters with a nice double leg into side control. Tyler won't be happy with that.

Jenkins is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Tyler is trying to escape and Jenkins transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Tyler is forced to tap! Nice work there by Jenkins! Very nice indeed!
