The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuire avoids the head kick by Thrul.
McGuire is looking to chop away at Thrul's legs.
And Thrul tries to counter it with a takedown but McGuire pushes his down on his head and steps out.

McGuire has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Thrul can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

McGuire escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Thrul gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

McGuire drops down looking for a counter takedown but Thrul sprawls and moves away.

Thrul rushes McGuire and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

McGuire throws a looping overhand right but Thrul ducks down to avoid it.

and Thrul connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Charles McGuire is winning the standup battle so far.
McGuire swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Thrul uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McGuire.
McGuire checks a low kick from Thrul.
Thrul throws a leg kick but McGuire checks it.
As Thrul backs away, McGuire returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

letting Thrul counter with a right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Thrul tries to close the distance and clinch but McGuire swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Good leg kick by Thrul there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
McGuire misses the shot to the body.

Thrul takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Thrul throws a fast counter high kick but McGuire manages to duck under it in time.
A slapping body kick lands there for McGuire.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Thrul swings for the body but McGuire moves out of range.
McGuire misses with a shot to the body
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Thrul connects with a right hand. McGuire shakes it off.
Thrul misses with an uppercut.
McGuire throws the kick towards the body but Thrul avoids it.
Thrul is trying to counter with his kicks.
McGuire just misses with a punch to the body.
Thrul flicks out a counter leg kick but McGuire steps away.

Charles McGuire showed his dominance in that final round.
I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
