The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Megat throws the left hand but Gallays avoids the punch easily.
Megat throws a hook but Gallays blocks it.
Megat throws an overhand right that lands on Gallays's shoulder, as Gallays tries to avoid the shot.
Gallays swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Megat throws a lazy right hand but Gallays sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gallays looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Megat is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gallays.
Gallays is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Megat with a body shot.
Megat takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Gallays throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Megat stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Gallays closes the distance and lands a one-two.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Megat takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Megat swings widly with a right hand
and Gallays counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Megat connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Megat closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

and Gallays counters with a stiff right hand.

Gallays takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Gallays has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Megat finds it's way round the side to connect with Gallays's head.

Megat lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gallays circles away quickly and effectively.

Megat is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Megat throws out a loose jab but Gallays uses good head movement to avoid it.

Megat drops Gallays with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Gallays looks back up at him and smiles so Megat waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Gallays is rocked!

It looks like Corey Gallays has been cut.
Megat fakes the body blow, causing Gallays to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Gallays goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

In his post fight interview, Lucas Megat started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
