Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kk Kk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gangs Taria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 11 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Kk Kk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Gangs Taria!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Daniel Franklin and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kk wants to clinch up but Taria keeps it at a distance.
Kk looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Taria has a takedown stuffed.
Kk looks to clinch
and Taria makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Taria moves out of range of the body kick from Kk.
Taria lands a slapping body shot.
Kk tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Taria paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Taria throws a counter combo.
Horrible takedown attempt by Taria or perhaps it was just good defense by Kk, which made it look bad.
Kk fails to land with a series of punches.
Taria clinches up with Kk and pushes him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kk swings wildly with an uppercut but Taria uses good head movement to avoid it.
Taria manages to break the clinch.
Taria bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Kk knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Taria on the ground.
This has been an exciting period of action!
An elbow from Taria crashes against the mat.
Taria is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Kk's shoulder. That is not cool.

Taria decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Taria dives in for a single leg takedown but Kk sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Kk appears to be looking for a big counter.
Kk Kk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gangs Taria.
Taria closes the distance and clinches up with Kk, looking for a takedown. Taria pushes Kk against the cage but Kk circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Taria digs a good body shot into Kk's ribs.
Taria lands a head kick. Kk smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Taria has Kk up against the cage in a clinch.
Taria prevents a body shot from Kk.
Taria is looking for a takedown.
A left hand lands to the body for Taria.
Taria pulls guard.
Taria looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Taria pushes Kk off and scrambles back to his feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Taria gets a clinch.
Kk misses with a punch to the body.
Kk tries to land knees in the clinch but Taria avoids the damage to the body.
Taria jumps guard and drags Kk to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Taria is adopting a defensive guard.
Kk has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Taria lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Taria stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Taria rushes Kk and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Taria has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kk avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Taria jumps guard and drags Kk to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Taria has his foot on Kk's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kk works his way back into a safe position though.
Taria is pulling down on Kk's head. It's preventing any offense from Kk, at least for the moment.
Taria is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Taria moves nicely into side control.

Taria passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Kk!

Taria manages to capitalize on a mistake by Kk to take his back!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Taria tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kk sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Taria somewhat.
Taria fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Taria shoots and misses
and Kk counters with a three punch combo that has Taria backing up. Taria nods at Kk to acknowledge the strikes.
Kk Kk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gangs Taria.
Taria gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Taria utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Taria drags the fight down to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kk is looking to stand up but Taria won't let him.
Taria has control of Kk's left arm, preventing Kk from doing any damage.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Taria doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Taria manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kk manages to get himself to full guard.
Taria content to stall in guard here.
Taria forces his way into half guard.

Taria is nestled in close to Kk, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Taria lands a nice short elbow.
Taria perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Taria has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Kk is bucking up trying to escape but Taria cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Taria misses with a head shot.
Taria unloads with some shots from mount but Kk bucks and avoids them well.

Kk takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Gangs Taria has got the better of the ground game so far.
Taria connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Taria takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Gangs Taria showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Kk walks into a straight right hand from Taria.
Taria has closed the distance and engaged Kk in a clinch.
Kk tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Kk misses with a hook to the ribs.
Taria avoiding damage as Kk throws knees to the body.
Kk tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Taria's elbow.
Taria breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We've been told by Kk's head coaches at Cozad The Island that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Taria closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Kk is trying to escape back to his feet but Taria uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Taria has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Taria tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Kk Kk has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Taria with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Kk wants to control but Taria is having none of it.
