Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Matthes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The champ is here. Antonio Brown told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Matthes back to the ropes. Brown follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Brown gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Matthes counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Matthes.
Matthes drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Matthes jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Matthes is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Brown has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Brown!
Brown has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Matthes is proving hard to escape from.
Matthes escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Matthes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brown on the ground.
Matthes pulls Brown in close to prevent any damage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Matthes uses the ropes to get back to his feet.
Brown tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Matthes decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Brown's guard.
Matthes drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Brown dives on top into guard.
The fighters are working up against the ropes. Matthes manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the ropes.
Brown ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Brown no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Matthes has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Brown is on him like a limpet, forcing Matthes back against the ropes.
Brown is pressed up against the ropes. Matthes has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Brown down to the mat. Brown avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Matthes gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Matthes looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Brown fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Matthes manages to avoid it.

Brown creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Matthes sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
