Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Isaias Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julian Van Eck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Julian Van Eck!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Eck dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Parker. That did some damage!

Parker moves into the clinch.

Parker works over Van Eck with some ground and pound from guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Parker is in close to Van Eck's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Van Eck wants to get back to his feet but Parker is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Van Eck is fighting to break Parker's control of his arms but Parker is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Parker turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Parker manages to end up in side control.
Isaias Parker overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Parker has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
