The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanma lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Savernport misses with the body kick
and Hanma counters with a nice low kick that buckles Savernport's knee momentarily.
Savernport shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hanma's guard.
Hanma is pulling down on Savernport's head to control his posture.

Savernport seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hanma went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Savernport tries a head kick but it misses.
Hanma tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Savernport manages to circle out of the way.

It looks like Baki Hanma has been cut.

Hanma darts in looking for a takedown but Savernport gets double underhooks and turns Hanma into the cage.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Savernport closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Hanma sneaks out the side door and pushes Savernport away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

I would just about give that final round to Iain Savernport.
Well Savernport has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
