Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David McCarthy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Em (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCarthy comes into the arena with Chamillionaire - Ridin' ft. Krayzie Bone blaring out of the sound system. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, David McCarthy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Boris Em!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Ivan Kurochkin and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCarthy misses with a wild combination.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Em is looking for a triangle but McCarthy pushes his legs off easily.

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, McCarthy creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

McCarthy shoots in and bounces Em off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.

McCarthy throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Em's jaw, knocking him onto his back! McCarthy dives in looking to finish as Em flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block McCarthy's strikes! McCarthy is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Em's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Em was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David McCarthy!
