Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Forest Gump (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaos Simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Simmons closes the distance and pushes Gump back into the cage.
Gump misses with a short punch on the inside.
Simmons throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Gumps head.
A right hook to the body lands for Simmons.
Come on Simmons - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Simmons lands with a right to the head.
Gump blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Simmons digs a right hand underneath Gump's ribcage. Gump let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Simmons lands a hook that snaps the head of Gump backwards.
Gump prevents the takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Simmons lands with a light punch inside.
Simmons lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Simmons pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Simmons darts in looking for a takedown but Gump gets double underhooks and turns Simmons into the cage.
A little feinted left hand from Gump on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Simmons looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Gump swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Forest Gump has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kaos Simmons.

Simmons has closed the distance and engaged Gump in a clinch.
Simmons is pressed up against the cage. Gump has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Simmons down to the mat. Simmons avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Simmons tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Gump defends well and Simmons ends up having to push Gump into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Gump is trying to trip Simmons. He has hold of a leg but Simmons is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Gump persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Gump passes Simmons's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Gump is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Gump is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Simmons is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
