The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carr misses with a body punch
letting Doolittle counter with a right hand.
Doolittle lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Doolittle avoids the body shot from Carr.
Carr misses the body punch
and Carr takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A looping hook to the body misses from Carr. Doolittle does a little dance to reset his feet.
Carr has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Wild Card in the buildup to the fight.
Doolittle on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Doolittle thuds his shin into the meat of Carr's side.
Carr slips under a jab from Doolittle.
Carr throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Doolittle counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Doolittle thows a left - swing and a miss!
Carr misses with a straight left.
Carr jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Doolittle uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Carr.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Carr swings widly with a right hand
and Doolittle counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Cornelius Carr has been cut.

Carr swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Carr with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Doolittle to score with a decent uppercut.
Carr pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Carr throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Doolittle counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Carr falls off balance throwing a combination
and Doolittle counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Carr throws a body shot but no joy.
Carr misses with a left hand

and Doolittle counters with a nice right hand that sends Carr toppling to the canvas! Carr scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Doolittle finish him?!

Carr is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Doolittle lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Doctor Doolittle!
A relieved looking Doctor Doolittle thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
