Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Neander Obeh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Maxence Laurentian!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Laurentian.
Horrible takedown by Obeh or perhaps it was just good defense by Laurentian which made him look bad.
Laurentian throws out a leg kick but Obeh moves out of range and Laurentian only half commits.
Laurentian throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Laurentian throws a head kick but Obeh moves out of range.
Obeh displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Laurentian throws out the jab.
Obeh lands a nice looking body kick.
Obeh closes the distance and clinches up with Laurentian, looking for a takedown. Obeh pushes Laurentian against the cage but Laurentian circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Obeh dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Laurentian. That did some damage!
Obeh staying out of range there.
Laurentian cracks Obeh with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Obeh throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Laurentian's waist but Laurentian gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Obeh off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Neander Obeh. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Laurentian throws a looping overhand right but Obeh ducks down to avoid it.
Obeh wants to slow Laurentian down by chopping away at his legs.
Laurentian keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Maxence Laurentian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Obeh blocks a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Obeh shoots in for a double leg but Laurentian sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Obeh misses with a few strikes there.
Obeh wants to slow Laurentian down by chopping away at his legs.
Obeh throws a right and a left that both miss.
Obeh slips under a jab from Laurentian.
Laurentian misses with a body shot.
Maxence Laurentian is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Laurentian ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Obeh moves away.
Laurentian cracks Obeh with a good jab.
Laurentian throws a right and a left that both miss.
Obeh is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Laurentian scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Obeh misses with a takedown attempt - Laurentian sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Obeh ducks under a wild hook from Laurentian.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Laurentian fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Obeh manages to avoid it.
Laurentian drops Obeh with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Obeh looks back up at him and smiles so Laurentian waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Obeh is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Obeh slips under a jab.
Oh Obeh is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Laurentian is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Obeh hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Maxence Laurentian!
