Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lars Kenardly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Salvatore Pellegrini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kenardly comes to the cage accompanied by Strokin. Pellegrini comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Nicola Piovani - Il Camorrista kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice combination there by Kenardly.
Kenardly cracks the inside of Pellegrini's front leg.
Pellegrini closes the distance and clinches up with Kenardly, looking for a takedown. Pellegrini pushes Kenardly against the cage but Kenardly circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kenardly bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Pellegrini's head.
Pellegrini shoots for a double leg takedown but Kenardly sprawls well. He's pushed Pellegrini's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kenardly has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
