The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munson avoids the body shot from Cummings.

Munson takes the fight into the clinch.
Munson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Cummings avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Munson manages to break the clinch.

Cummings gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Munson to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Munson working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Cummings's head.
Cummings really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Cummings is looking to stand up but Munson isn't so interested in that idea.

Munson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Cummings is looking to stand back up but Munson counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Cummings.
Cummings knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Munson on the ground.
Munson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Munson is looking for a kimura but Cummings is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Munson to get the leverage.
Munson is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Cummings!
Munson seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Cummings is holding on tight.

Munson is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Cummings has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Cummings is looking to improve his position but Munson isn't that keen on the idea.

Munson fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Munson lands a couple of good shots and Cummings has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Munson slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Munson has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
