Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Crazy Horse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Forest Gump (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Crazy Horse!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Forest Gump!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Horse rushes Gump and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Horse drops back, looking for a kneebar! Gump looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Gump looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Gump!


Gump is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Horse is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Horse parries the strikes from Gump easily there. Gump is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Horse to escape.

Horse can't do much from the bottom here.

Gump thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Horse is trying to control Gump's posture but Gump avoids it.

Gump is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Horse doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gump.

A close round but Forest Gump will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Horse postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Horse forces his way into half guard.
Well, if Horse is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Horse is trying to control. Gump wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Horse seems to be working for a kimura but Gump defends the submission attempt.

Gump is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Horse's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Horse's back!

Gump patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?

Gump has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Horse has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gump has the hooks in. Horse is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Horse is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Horse won't enjoy being in this position. Gump looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Horse is tapping - it's over boys! Gump picks up the submission victory!
