The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silvennoinen listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Silvennoinen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hoo is fending him off so far but Silvennoinen persists. Nope, Hoo circles away and we're back to standing.
Hoo throws a body shot but no joy.
Silvennoinen closes the distance and clinches up with Hoo, looking for a takedown. Silvennoinen pushes Hoo against the cage but Hoo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hoo changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Silvennoinen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Hoo stuffs the takedown.
Silvennoinen throws a hook but Hoo avoids it easily.
Hoo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Hoo leaves Silvennoinen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Hoo drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Silvennoinen defends it well.
