Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Preston Barksdale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CT Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Turner is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Throw it Up #2-Lil jon. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Franklyn Lucas and Bruno Lombardi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barksdale closes the distance and clinches.
Turner looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Barksdale pulls Turner into guard.

Barksdale uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Turner swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Barksdale moves into range and clinches up with Turner.
Turner working aggressively here.
Turner wants a takedown but no success here.

Barksdale pulls guard effortlessly.
Barksdale not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Barksdale wants to stand and escape but Turner is having none of it.

Barksdale has his foot on Turner's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Turner works his way back into a safe position though.

Barksdale is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Turner wants to stand but Barksdale has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Barksdale throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Turner lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Barksdale working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Turner doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Turner manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Turner looking to sit in guard and control but Barksdale gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Barksdale seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Barksdale wants to control from the top but Turner keeps moving.

Barksdale drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Barksdale as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Turner screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Barksdale! Nice submission victory there!
