Eikmeyer has a takedown stuffed.
Eikmeyer takes one on the chin but seems OK.

It looks like Mario Eikmeyer has been cut.
Horrible takedown attempt by Eikmeyer or perhaps it was just good defense by Snead, which made it look bad.
Eikmeyer shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Eikmeyer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Snead's waist but Snead gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Eikmeyer off to one side.

Snead drops Eikmeyer with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Eikmeyer looks back up at him and smiles so Snead waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Eikmeyer is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Snead measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Eikmeyer! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
