Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bret Bauer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haris Milavic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haris Milavic will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bauer closes the distance and pushes Milavic back into the cage.
Milavic prevents Bauer from breaking the clinch.

Milavic has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Bauer is trying to keep an underhook but Milavic manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Milavic wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bauer keeps working.
Bauer tries to kick Milavic off but Milavic keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Milavic is trying to control the action in half guard but Bauer is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Bauer keeping hold of Milavic's head, controlling as best he can.
Milavic wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bauer keeps working.

Bauer tries to kick Milavic off but Milavic keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Milavic is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Bauer wants to control but Milavic is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Milavic breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Milavic gets the takedown into side control.
Milavic wants to stand but Bauer has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.
Milavic wants to control from the top but Bauer keeps moving.

Milavic stops Bauer from standing up.

Bauer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Milavic doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Milavic manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Milavic must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Milavic wants to stand but Bauer is controlling his posture from full guard.

Milavic got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bauer has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Milavic has managed to get both his arms back between Bauer's legs - danger averted.

Milavic is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Milavic content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Bauer has locked up a guillotine! Bauer's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Milavic is holding on here and Bauer must be using up a lot of energy. Milavic has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Bauer gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
