The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams throws a head kick that misses.
Adams rushes Killer and presses him up against the cage.
Adams keeps control of Killer as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Killer avoiding damage as Adams throws knees to the body.

Killer fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Adams, pushing him back against the cage.

Adams is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Killer can't fight it off and eventually Adams manages to take the fight to the floor. Killer looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Adams jumps guard and drags Killer to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Adams is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Adams throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Killer wants to get back to full guard.
Adams is looking to take a break and control but Killer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Killer crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Adams - the referee stops the clock and Killer gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Adams. Killer manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Adams throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Killer displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Adams.
