Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between toms tom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eran Rew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rew swats away the attempt to clinch by tom.

tom fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rew, pushing him back against the cage.

tom breaks the clinch.

Rew shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Rew was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
tom holds on for dear life.

Rew looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Rew trying to control but he's not successful this time.
tom wants to control but Rew is having none of it.
tom on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if tom tries to get out of the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Rew throws a head kick that misses.
Rew changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. tom tries to avoid it but Rew manages to keep hold of a leg and drag tom to the ground. tom escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - tom looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Rew.
Rew lands an elbow.
Rew controls the position.

tom is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Rew asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Rew thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
tom is looking for a sweep.
tom is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
tom tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Rew wants to control the pace but tom is squirming around nicely.
tom tries to hold on but Rew pushes him away.

Rew is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But tom has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from tom!

tom stands up and waves to Rew to follow him.

No luck for Rew with that takedown attempt.

tom looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Rew is looking for a sweep. tom is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
tom is thwarting Rew's attempts to control the position.

tom escapes and gets back to his feet.

Rew shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Rew trying to control but tom is having none of it.
tom wants to control but Rew is having none of it.
tom knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rew on the ground.
Rew thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

A close second round but Eran Rew will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Rew tries for a takedown but tom circles away easily

and tom counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Rew working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. tom doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. tom manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Rew bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in tom's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Rew drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but tom manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rew has tom in his guard.
Rew not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Rew holds on and takes a little breather.
Rew wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and tom is now in half guard.
toms tom overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
tom is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

tom moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Rew.
You can see the frustration on Rew's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Rew sneaks back into half guard.
Rew has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. tom is working away from the top position though.
