The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Sobral.
Boyington is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Sobral is controlling him well.
Sobral wants to control but Boyington is keeping him busy.
Boyington wants to get back to his feet.
Boyington on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Boyington tries to get out of the position.
Sobral throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boyington is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sobral working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Boyington pushes Sobral away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Sobral gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Sobral can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Boyington is looking to escape.

Sobral jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Boyington manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Pappy Boyington seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Boyington throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sobral stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Sobral misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Boyington.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Boyington connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Sobral's hands.
Sobral shoots in for a takedown but Boyington shows good takedown defense.
Boyington lands with a right that hurts Sobral. Sobral looks to clinch but Boyington throws a short knee that drops Sobral. This one is all over!
