Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morocco lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Morocco throws a leg kick which misses OConnell's front leg but catches the back leg as OConnell tries to avoid it.
Morocco takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Morocco throws a sloppy head kick
and OConnell counters with a nice uppercut.
OConnell has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Morocco scoring well with a low kick there.
OConnell moves out of range of the body kick from Morocco.
A little jabbing left from OConnell on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Morocco lands a leg kick that knocks OConnell off balance momentarily.
OConnell on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Morocco. Morocco obviously looking to wear him down.
OConnell uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Morocco throws a nice outside leg kick.
A bone on bone clash there as OConnell blocks the leg kick.
Morocco throws a sloppy head kick and OConnell moves out of range easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Morocco looks for the body kick but OConnell saw that one coming.

and OConnell counters with a nice right hand that sends Morocco toppling to the canvas! Morocco scrambles and gets back to his feet - can OConnell finish him?!

It looks like Ricci Morocco has been cut.
OConnell fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Morocco looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Oh Morocco is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Morocco is breathing heavily.
Morocco walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! OConnell swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

After the fight, Paul OConnell was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
