Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Watari Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ping Pau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Pau's choice of entrance music: Wai Khru Ram Muay. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Watari Hart!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ping Pau!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Paul Tew and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hart shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Pau manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Pau looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Pau is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Hart dives into side control.

Hart decides to stand back up.

Hart gets a double leg takedown into Pau's guard.
Pau wants to stand and escape but Hart is having none of it.

Hart stands and steps away. Pau gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Hart closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Pau's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pau is working an open guard so Hart takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Hart darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Hart decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Hart feints and as Pau raises his hands in defense, Hart changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hart prevents Pau from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hart stands up from Pau's guard - Hart perhaps looking for a knockout.

Hart closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Pau is looking for a sweep. Hart is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Hart escapes and gets back to his feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Pau enables Hart to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Pau manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Pau is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Hart dives into side control.
Pau looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.


Hart stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Hart drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Hart is standing up over Pau. Pau looks to escape but Hart dives into side control.

Hart shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Pau is trying to defend but Hart finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Pau is trying to get back to full guard.

Pau wants to control but Hart is keeping busy.

Hart stands up and beckons Pau to join him on the feet.

Hart drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Pau is trying to get back to half guard.
Pau is trying to control Hart's posture but Hart avoids it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hart stands up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Watari Hart dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Pau tries to escape back to his feet but Hart has kept hold of him... Oh, now he's got Pau's back and is looking for the choke... Is it? Is it sunk in? YES! Pau is tapping! Hart saw the opportunity and took it - ruthless!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Watari Hart!
