The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Greer.
Greer sets himself, and Beeem steps forward looking for the clinch! Greer avoids it this time.
Beeem throws a right hand that misses
and Greer counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Beeem tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Greer swivels and escapes.
Beeem shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Greer pinned against the cage. Greer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Beeem doesn't manage to clinch there - Greer circles away.
Greer throws a quick counter head kick but Beeem was just out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Beeem loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Greer working for a triangle but Beeem defends it easily.
Greer lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Beeem is looking to sweep but instead, Greer has passed into half guard.

Greer is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Greer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Beeem is looking to get back to full guard here but Greer has managed to pass to side control instead.
Beeem is trying to work for a sweep but Greer has mounted him!

Greer has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Beeem! Can he survive? No! He's out! Greer gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
