Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chris Cripple!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jimmy Swift!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swift shoots in but Cripple avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Swift moves into the clinch successfully.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Swift breaks from the clinch.
Swift fails with an attempt to clinch.

Swift looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Cripple is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Cripple had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Swift is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Cripple Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Swift's back instead.
Swift is covering up but some of the strikes from Cripple are getting through and doing damage.
Cripple keeps control of the position as Swift tries to break free.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cripple scores with strikes from the back.

Cripple has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Cripple is trying to stick to Swift's back but Swift is turning into Cripple. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Cripple's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Swift.
Swift won't allow Cripple to sweep him here.
Cripple bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Swift's guard.
Swift really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cripple. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Swift is trying to control the position but Cripple postures up.
Cripple tries to free his leg and advance position but Swift is retaining full guard.

Cripple drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Cripple seems to have locked his on tight now - Swift screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Cripple, as he picks up the win!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Chris Cripple!
