The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes takes a swing at Morrison's ribcage but misses.
Barnes tries for a takedown but Morrison sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Morrison avoids a punch combination nicely.
Brock Barnes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Barnes closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Barnes landing strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Morrison is looking for a sweep.
Barnes working the ground and pound from side control.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Morrison tries to bench press Barnes off him but Barnes keeps the position.
Barnes in side control lands a decent elbow.
Morrison is trying to improve his position.
Morrison is working hard here to advance position.
Morrison could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Morrison takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Morrison tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Barnes wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Barnes scores with a couple of short elbows.

Morrison is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Morrison is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Barnes pulls his head out easily.
Morrison tries to get to full guard but Barnes has control of the leg.
Morrison is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Barnes scores with a couple of nice shots.
Barnes seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Barnes works his way into full mount!
Morrison is wriggling around trying to escape.
The referee warns Morrison that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

It looks like Hulk Morrison has been cut.
Barnes postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Morrison looks a forlorn figure.
Barnes landing punches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Morrison is in a horrible position here. Barnes smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Morrison is rocked!

Barnes is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Oh Morrison is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Barnes softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Morrison is out cold! Barnes jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
