The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singh tests Johnstone's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Johnstone throws a solid leg kick but Singh takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Johnstone.

Singh throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Singh lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Singh lands a left and a right that send Johnstone crashing to the mat, dazed. Singh thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Singh connects with a stiff jab that staggers Johnstone - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!

After the fight, Gurveender Singh was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
