Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Francis Fitzpatrick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Frank Dux!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Daniel Franklin and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitzpatrick swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fitzpatrick. Dux does a little dance to reset his feet.
Dux cracks Fitzpatrick with a good jab.
Dux has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Dux slips a jab and a cross from Fitzpatrick.
Dux wants to counter with a clinch but Fitzpatrick pushes him away.
Dux throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Fitzpatrick sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Fitzpatrick lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Fitzpatrick misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dux.
Dux moves into the clinch successfully.
Dux tries to pull guard but Fitzpatrick forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Dux is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Fitzpatrick to keep the fight standing.
Dux gets control of Fitzpatrick's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dux will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Dux working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fitzpatrick doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fitzpatrick manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fitzpatrick is posturing up here but Dux has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Fitzpatrick tries to roll out but it's too tight and Fitzpatrick has to tap! Slick submission there by Dux!
