Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lucien Paol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paol comes to the cage accompanied by Edith Piaf - La Vie En Rose . Miller has chosen Who Was In My Room Last Night by Butthole Surfers as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller fails with an attempt to clinch.
Paol attempts a counter takedown but Miller avoids it well and moves away.
Paol fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Randy Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Paol shoots in but no luck this time.

Paol drops down looking for a counter takedown but Miller sprawls and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Paol feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Miller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Paol. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Paol is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Miller knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
