Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rhadny Langote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devonte Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Rhadny Langote has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rhadny Langote!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Devonte Harris!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Langote looks for a takedown but Harris sprawls well.
Harris throws a body punch but Langote moves out of range.
Langote fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Langote fails in his attempt to clinch.
Langote misses with a few strikes there.
Harris feints and as Langote raises his hands in defense, Harris changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Langote pushes Harris off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Harris closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Langote's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Langote wants to sweep but no luck.

Harris works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Harris is taking a breather. Langote says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Harris seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Langote has recovered full guard.
Langote thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Harris tries to free his leg and advance position but Langote is retaining full guard.
Harris has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Langote is proving hard to escape from.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Harris controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Harris's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Harris slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Harris misses the shot to the body.
Langote seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Harris looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Harris landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Langote on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Harris working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Langote might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Harris really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Langote. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

and Harris counters with a nice double leg into side control. Langote won't be happy with that.
Harris is breathing heavily.

Langote is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Harris tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Harris has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Rhadny Langote will probably get the nod.
That's time! Langote's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!
No joy there for Harris, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Langote swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Harris gets the takedown into side control.
Langote throws Harris to one side and escapes!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Horrible takedown attempt by Harris or perhaps it was just good defense by Langote, which made it look bad.

Harris shoots for a takedown but Langote saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Rhadny Langote seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Harris fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Rhadny Langote has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Devonte Harris.
Langote fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Langote tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Harris paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Harris is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Harris changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Langote tries to avoid it but Harris manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Langote to the ground. Langote escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Langote is defended easily by Harris.

Harris must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Harris wants to get up but he can't break Langote's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Langote has momentary wrist control but Harris slips an elbow through the middle.

Harris is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
A head kick by Langote misses
and Harris holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Langote wants to take the fight to the mat but Harris manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Langote is trying to maintain a safe position but Harris gets an underhook and turns Langote into the cage.
Langote's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
A frustrated look appears on Langote's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Harris manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Let's hope that Harris has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
