The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viper gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows si to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Viper keeping moving, preventing si from controlling successfully.
si has gone for a leg lock! Viper slips out almost immediately though and dives into si's guard.
Viper wants to control from the top but si keeps moving.
Viper throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Viper trying to control the position from guard on top but si is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
si working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Viper doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Viper manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Viper's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

si pushes a forearm under Viper's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Viper is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
